Neurodivergence‑Informed Support & Training
Supporting Understanding, Connection & Safe Family Functioning
DSS Collective provides neurodivergence‑informed support and training for children, parents, and carers to build understanding, reduce conflict, and strengthen family relationships. We recognise how differences in communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation, attention, and behaviour affect daily life and parenting, especially in high‑stress or safeguarding contexts. Support is delivered through a trauma‑informed, strengths‑based approach using practical, accessible strategies that promote safety, attunement, and stability.
What Is Neurodivergence‑Informed Support?
Neurodivergence‑Informed Support helps families understand the needs, communication styles, and sensory profiles that shape behaviour, reducing misinterpretation and supporting emotional regulation. It is not diagnostic and does not replace clinical assessment; instead, it complements statutory and therapeutic work by helping families engage more effectively with routines, support plans, and multi‑agency expectations, creating safer, more regulated environments for children and parents.
Commissioning & Referrals
DSS Collective delivers Family Time Supervision through formal commissioning arrangements with local authorities. We do not accept direct referrals from families.
